The Centennial Anniversary of the National Council of YWCAs of China was held in Shanghai, China from November 12th to 15th, 2023. More than 70 representatives and guests from YWCAs both at home and aborad attended the event.
The centennial anniversary revolved around the theme of "Resilience, Inclusiveness, and Exploration." Together, we have been staying true to the original aspirations and mission of YWCA as we work towards sustainable development and global peace.
The event was hosted by Ms Xiaoxin, GUI, General Secretary of National Council of YWCAs of China
Ms. Qianli, Jiang, President of National Council of YWCAs of China delivered a welacome speech
Liu Hong, vice president of the National Council of YWCAs of China, led the young staff to send flowers to the seniors, grafeful for their love , passion and contribution towards YWCA.
Relevant government officiials attended the event and delivered congratulatory remarks.
Keynote speech
The event invited relevant experts and scholars to deliver keynote speech in the form of on-site interviews, revolving around topics as " relationshiwith the YWCA; Existing cooperation with the YWCA and future prospects; The position, function and role of YWCA in
the new era; As an international social service group, the participation and discourse power in the international arena".

The theme of the workshop was"Diversity, Inclusiveness, Advocacy, Innovation". It reflects three concepts. Firstly, it showsthe social, modern and international nature of China YWCA; Secondly, YWCA serve multiple target groups in diverse fields, and use multi-angle methods; Thirdly, YWCA keeps pace with the society and the times. We have invited have also invited World YWCA, Overseas YWCAs,the Hong Kong YWCA and local YWCAs of China mainland to shareYWCA work and cooperation prospect.

During the event, through field visits and cultural experience activities, representavies got to know China YWCA's social service and cultural advocacy brand projects, as well as the charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
